Fresh, clean new year

There’s something about January that gives everyone a subtle push in the “fresh start” category–maybe it’s the fact that we all feel a bit tired and restless after the holidays and we want to shake things up a bit, or maybe we’ve gotten a little complacent about exercising, eating right or changing our routines, or maybe we just love the promise of a brand new year and that makes us more willing to make a leap in a different direction.  Every January 1st, our hopeful resolutions present us with the opportunity to spark some changes and challenge us to step out of our comfort zones, which, for some people, can also be a little bit…scary.  Sure, change can be daunting, but taking those first steps to a shiny new beginning can also be wonderfully exciting and invigorating (just ask anyone who got married, joined a health club, or had a baby last year.)   Here at the station, we’re advocating the “change is good”  philosophy and making a few resolutions of our own, and now that we’ve decided to go out with the old and in with the new, we’re pretty thrilled about it.  In 2013, keep your eyes open for the chance to help WRBH create and implement these exciting changes to our regular routines (including freshening our schedule and logo!)  Come on, it’s a new year–let’s create a spark!
