Coming soon to WRBH: Book Week 2.0!
Starting Monday, July 11th we’ll be switching from our regular schedule and digging into our archives of the past 10 years to bring you some of the best literature we’ve read, original interviews, Old Time Radio and more.
During this time, our studio will be under construction so we will not be recording volunteers. Also, our daily live news program, The Newspaper of the Air, will be temporarily shortened to one hour and air from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM during the weekdays.
The studio redesign has been made possible by a generous contribution from the Edward Wisner Donation. The Wisner Donation, a charitable trust given to the city of New Orleans in 1914, supports nonprofits like WRBH in the areas of beautification, education, recreation and human services. By enabling us to renovate our production studio, the Wisner Donation will help improve our volunteer experience and ability to serve our blind and print impaired listeners 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
