WRBH Volunteer and Resident Wordsmith Pat Ammon brings us a featured word of the day each Wednesday. Today’s word is…

Eponymous
adj.:

Of or relating to a person whose name is or is thought to be the source of the name of something such as a city, country or era.

Example: Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre is a book about a woman of the same name.

Another obvious example would be this very blog, which is named after Pat, of course!
