WRBH Blog: As Promised, Here’s The Book Week Schedule…

As we mentioned last week, WRBH’s Book Week will begin on this Monday, August 17th and last until Friday, August 21st. We’ve got a great line-up of books (named below), Old Time Radio and classic in-house produced interviews (which will be named on the day they air) ready to go for next week.

The Newspaper of the Air (7AM-9AM), WRBH’s News@Noon program (12PM-12:30PM) and Makin’ Groceries with Marie (Friday 1PM-2PM; 5AM-6AM)  will not be effected by this new schedule and will air at their regular times.

The two final segments of Donna Tartt’s The Secret History on the Great Literature program will air at their regular time (8PM-9PM) on Monday and Tuesday; Old Time Radio will air from 8PM-9PM on Wednesday through Friday. 

NOLA By Mouth, Public Affairs, Audio Portraits, Charlie’s Music Show and The Writer’s Forum will not air new episodes this week.

And without further ado, here is your schedule for next week:

Newspaper of the Air (7AM – 9AM)

Mystic Krewe of Swan Song by Darlene Olivo and read by Rosanna Shepard

Mon-Tues: The Secret History by Donna Tartt and read by Shawn Holahan /Wed-Fri: Old Time Radio (8PM-9PM)

The Lost Dogs by Jim Gorant and read by Oliver Houck (9PM-11PM)

Yes Please by Amy Poehler and read by Jackie Bullock (11PM-1AM)
