No. 29 Baseball to Play Midweek Games Against In-State Foes ULL, UNO

Tulane Baseball faces off against UL-Lafayette on both Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30pm. The following WRBH programs will be pre-empted:

Tuesday:

NEW ORLEANS – No. 29 Tulane baseball begin a busy week in which they play five games, as the Green Wave will host nationally-ranked UL-Lafayette on Tuesday at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium before heading across town to square off against New Orleans on Wednesday at Maestri Field at First NBC Bank Park.

Both games will begin at 6:30 p.m. CT, and both will be televised on Cox Sports Television (CST). Both games will be broadcast on 88.3 FM WRBH, and live stats can be found on TulaneGreenWave.com.

TEAM SUMMARIES
Tulane – 7-4, 0-0 The American, .305 Team BA, 4.50 Team ERA
UL-Lafayette – 8-4, 0-0 Sun Belt, .286 Team BA, 2.78 Team ERA
New Orleans – 9-2, 0-0 Southland, .338 Team BA, 4.82 Team ERA

LAST TIME OUT
-The Green Wave swept Pepperdine in a three-game series at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium in which Tulane scored 30 runs over three contests. Tulane shut out the Waves 11-0 and 15-0 to start the series before winning on a walk-off sacrifice fly by a score of 4-3 on Sunday.

-UL-Lafayette swept Sacred Heart this past weekend after going .500 in midweek games. The Ragin’ Cajuns defeated New Orleans last Tuesday before dropping a Wednesday contest to McNeese State.

-New Orleans swept Pittsburgh this past weekend after dropping a midweek contest to UL-Lafayette.
