WRBH’s Newest Program is: Grey Matters

Today at 3:30PM, we’ll be airing our newest program: Grey Matters. Each week, Orr Adams (previously a reader with his wife Meg on Going Green) will bring you articles and features that deal with issues directly related to senior citizens, their needs and problems.

Orr hopes to choose content that is interesting and deals with these topics:

  • Health and Fitness
  • Financial Planning
  • Social Security and Medicaid Issues
  • Health Care Planning
  • Planning for Diminished Capacity
  • Retirement and What To Do During it
  • Maintaining Independence
  • Elder Law Issues
  • And a whole myriad of other miscellaneous issues that older folks have to deal with: e.g., when to stop driving, how to stay in your own home, how to avoid scammers, who is out there (government, charity, other) to help the elderly, elder abuse, independent/assisted/nursing home living, getting older successfully, work during retirement, charity/volunteering, etc.

Charlie’s Music Show (which was at 3:30PM) will be moved up to 4PM. Audio Portraits will no longer air on the radio, but be turned into an online only podcast (we’ll have more news on this later). Until then, check out Grey Matters and let us know what you think!
